How can I get ink out of my Persian Oriental rug?!?

my child somehow got ink on my persian oriental rug(probably from a pen) and i NEED to know how to get it out without ruining the section in the carpet
PLEASE HELP!!

Hi,
Try to use any thinning agents like, white petrol , medical spirit, bakling soda + salt. Apply the agent on the spoiled part with a clean white cloth and try removing the stain in a circular motion. DO NOT SCRUB AS IT WILL ELONGATE THE STAIN. Do it slowly but steadily and soon you stain will start disappearing. Try it on a small portion of the rug before going for the whole part.
