porcelain dice that break glass?”chinese dice”?
does anybody know about small ceramic or porcelain dice that shatter glass with a gentle toss? i remember they were white plain dice about 1/2in. by 1/2in.kind of heavy and they worked! i think it has to do with the quick vibrations of a frequency or ?
the glass was in all likelyhood tempered. the dice were hard enough to chip the glass, causing it to shatter (caused by the stress buildup tempered glass has in it). think about a simple spring loaded punch (in tool and die industry) on a car sidelight- POW! there goes the entire window…
the denser and harder the material the better. zirconium would be hard enough, but am unsure on weight. sounds like something to try with a small sample of tempered glass
