I have antique silver tea set and want to know the worth of it and how old it is.
HI. First look for a hallmark on the bottom of the piece. Take photos and upload them to a free photo hosting service like www.putfile.com – you’ll need an online photo if you are going to ask anyone about the set.
The hallmark will tell you everything, maker, country, date, etc.
