How much do bottles of hard liqour, packs of cigarettes, & tins of chewing tobacco cost in Amman, Jordan?
I’m an American student who is considering studying abroad in Amman for a year and was just curious with regards to how much a liter of like locally produced arak, and an imported bottle of scotch/bourbon cost, how much a normal pack of cigarettes would cost, and how much, if they even sell it over their, a tin a moist snuff tobacco (like Copenhagen or Skoal) would cost over there. Also is drinking and smoking tolerated in Jordan? Thanks a bunch for your answers, as I appreciate them.
yes jordanians do tolerate alcohal drinking and smoking as you can find alcohal stores very easliy on the road side, plus they are not very expensive in terms of $ you can find a pack of marlboo for around 2 $ a pack.
and a bottle of scotch whiskey for around 100$.
